Karl, I certainly believe you are one of the better general managers I have had the pleasure of working with in my capacity as a LAFCO Executive Officer over the last 10 plus years in the Bay Area and believe you bring an effective and pragmatic approach to municipal management.

I always found Karl easy to work with and was impressed at his ability to explain difficult issues facing the district. He also was a fantastic fund raiser and grant writer. He brought in close to $300,000 for the rehabilitation of our Community Park, as well as over saw the complete rebuild of our treatment plant.

Karl was always knowledgeable responsive, listened respectfully to others with differing points of view and remained professional even when others did not. His individual attention to our District turned our facility around and I would hire him again if the opportunity arose.
